The Cassa Mediterranea Di Credito Per La Grecia (Mediterranean Bank of Credit for Greece, CMG) was an Italian institution based in Rome. During the Italian occupation of Greece from 1941 - 1944, these notes circulated alongside German Reichskreditkasse notes, predominately in the Ionian Islands. After the occupying armies withdrew from Greece in October 1944, these notes were replaced with the Isole Jonie issues.
