The Ta-Ching Government Bank (行銀部戸清大) series of China National Banks in the World Currency contains 27 distinct entries.
The Chinese name of the bank has been changed to 行銀部戸清大 (literally, Great Qing [Dynasty] Board of Revenue Bank) while the English translation has been changed to The “Ta-Ching” Government Bank (TCG). The use of quotation marks is often found in East Asian renderings of English. The Chinese name of the bank has been shortened from 行銀部戸清大 to 行銀清大 (literally “Great Qing [Dynasty] Bank”), and regional prefixes have been dropped. The English translation remains unchanged.
