The Chinese Italian Banking Corporation series of China Foreign Banks in the World Currency contains 22 distinct entries.
The Chinese Italian Banking Corporation (CIB) was a joint-venture bank established in 1921 to maintain the account of the Boxer Indemnity for Italy and to promote Chinese-Italian bilateral trade. In 1924, the Chinese partner withdrew and the bank merged with Credito Italiano, which is not known to have issued any notes.
Almost all Chinese Italian Banking Corporation notes available are remainders, with issued notes exceedingly rare in any condition.
