The Issue of 1760 series of South Carolina Colonial Currency in the U.S. Currency contains 3 distinct entries.

First Issue - £316,693 2s5d in Public Orders authorized by the July 31, 1760 Act. Indented engraved Orders payable to bearer and good for taxes until Nov. 30, 1765. The day and month were written in ink. Issued primarily for expenses of Lyttelton’s Expedition. Signers were Samuel Carne, Rawlins Lowndes, Peter Manigault, Isaac Mazyck, William Moultrie, William Roper, and Benjamin Smith.

Second Issue - £125,000 in Public Orders authorized by the Aug. 20, 1760 Act. Indented engraved Orders payable to bearer and good for taxes until Nov. 30, 1766. Issued primarily for the expense of Middleton’s Regiment. The day and month were written in ink. Signers were Richard Beresford, William Drayton, Christopher Gadsden, David Grame, Henry Laurens, and John McQueen.
