Banknote Book & CPG® PRICE GUIDE

About This Series

The Republik Indonesia - Borneo series of Indonesia in the World Currency contains 4 distinct entries.
These notes were intended for issue in North Borneo (Sabah and Sarawak), which Indonesia saw as a possible extension to its territory due to the power vacuum in the region. These Borneo notes have the same designs as the Indonesian notes, but with different color schemes. Unlike the other regional issues for Irian Barat and Riau, they do not have overprints.
