Obverse: Charles E. Barber’s Society Lady (popularly called Washlady) design, UNITED STATES OF AMERICA around, date 1879 below.
Reverse: At the center a circle of beads or dots enclosing ONE DIME, around which is an open wreath of wheat and cotton, with E PLURIBUS UNUM in a cartouche above.
