1879 “Schoolgirl” Silver Dollar. This is one of the most famous and most highly desired of all dollar patterns.

Obverse: Morgan’s famous “Schoolgirl” dollar. Head of young girl facing left, wearing strand of pearls, hair falling down to her neck. E PLURIBUS to left, UNUM to right, spaced by stars, date below.

Reverse: Defiant eagle standing on pedestal inscribed IN GOD WE TRUST; olive branch to left, three arrows to right. Around border, UNITED STATES OF AMERICA / ONE DOLLAR.
