The Banco Mercantil y Agrícola series of Venezuela in the World Currency contains 15 distinct entries.
In 1917, the Banco Mercantil Americano was established. In 1918, it became the Banco Neerlando-Venezolano with capital of 3,200,000 bolívares. Finally, on 15 July 1926 it became the Banco Mercantil y Agrícola (Mercantile and Agricultural Bank, BMA) with capital of 8,000,000 bolívares.
