The Tresor Central series of France in the World Currency contains 27 distinct entries.
The Trésor Central (Central Treasury, TRE) was established in London in 1941 with the financial support of the Bank of England, and managed by André Diethelm. This institution was in charge of supplying French forces with banknotes in the liberated territories and replacing Banque de France notes in circulation.
