The Sichuan Bank (行銀川四) series of China Military Banks in the World Currency contains 3 distinct entries.
The Sichuan Bank (SIC) was established in 1921 in Chengdu in order to raise money for the Army for the Suppression of the Rebels, specifically rebels fighting among Peiyang forces in Sichuan Province.
Take care not to confuse the Sichuan Bank with the similarly named Bank of Sichuan (B11001). Although it has the same Chinese name, it was a separate financial institution.
