1946-S/D Over Mintmark One Cent MS RD FS-511
Details
This San Francisco issue is available in large quantities up through MS66, though it is scarce in MS67 and higher grades. So, plenty of pieces are available for collectors who want a decent specimen, though registry set builders will need to pay a pretty penny for high-end pieces near the top of the grading spectrum.
Obverse: Bust of Abraham Lincoln framed by IN GOD WE TRUST on the top periphery. The word LIBERTY to the left of the portrait and the date and mintmark (If any) positioned on the right side.
Reverse: Wheat ears flanking the words ONE CENT, UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. The motto E PLURIBUS UNUM on the top perimeter.
