1946-D One Cent MS RB
Details
The 1946 Philadelphia Mint Lincoln cent is very common in circulated grades though, like a few other Philly-minted Lincoln cents from the 1940s and 1950s is remarkably tough in grades of MS65 or better. This issue is rare in grades of MS67, giving registry set collectors who wish to buy a premium example for their collections a considerable challenge.
Obverse: Bust of Abraham Lincoln framed by IN GOD WE TRUST on the top periphery. The word LIBERTY to the left of the portrait and the date and mintmark (If any) positioned on the right side.
Reverse: Wheat ears flanking the words ONE CENT, UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. The motto E PLURIBUS UNUM on the top perimeter.
