1937-D One Cent MS RD
Details
1937-D Lincoln cents are common through MS65, with pieces grading MS66 and higher considered scarce. There is strong demand for pieces grading MS67 and the tiny few that have achieved MS68 labels, and of course many of the buyers for the pricey specimens that grade in those echelons are none other than registry set collectors.
Obverse: Bust of Abraham Lincoln framed by IN GOD WE TRUST on the top periphery. The word LIBERTY to the left of the portrait and the date and mintmark (If any) positioned on the right side.
Reverse: Wheat ears flanking the words ONE CENT, UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. The motto E PLURIBUS UNUM on the top perimeter.
