1936-S One Cent MS RD Values
Details
1936-S Lincoln cents are common in circulated grades and up through around MS64RD. In MS65RD, this issue becomes scarce and pieces grading MS66RD or higher are essentially rare coins. Registry set collectors have helped push demand far beyond the meager supply for the relatively few pieces that are known among the Superb Gem level.
Obverse: Bust of Abraham Lincoln framed by IN GOD WE TRUST on the top periphery. The word LIBERTY to the left of the portrait and the date and mintmark (If any) positioned on the right side.
Reverse: Wheat ears flanking the words ONE CENT, UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. The motto E PLURIBUS UNUM on the top perimeter.
