1927-S One Cent MS RD
Details
The 1927-S Lincoln cent is a semi-key San Francisco issue that is tough to find with good surfaces and strong strike. Regardless of the coin's color designation, one will have a challenging time finding a really nice example. While it is not necessarily difficult to locate a piece even with fully Red color, they are rarer than hen's teeth in Gem grades.
Obverse: Bust of Abraham Lincoln framed by IN GOD WE TRUST on the top periphery. The word LIBERTY to the left of the portrait and the date and mintmark (If any) positioned on the right side.
Reverse: Wheat ears flanking the words ONE CENT, UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. The motto E PLURIBUS UNUM on the top perimeter.
