1927-D/D Repunched Mintmark One Cent MS RB FS-501
Details
The 1927-D Lincoln cent is very common in circulated grades, scarce but available in Mint States grades, and considerably scarce to rare in Gem grades. it is a typical situation for 1920s mintmarked Lincolns, which often come soft in the strike and heavy in color or surface problems. Discriminating buyers, rather collector or dealer, will pay premiums when necessary for nice specimens with even color, good strike, and awesome eye appeal.
Obverse: Bust of Abraham Lincoln framed by IN GOD WE TRUST on the top periphery. The word LIBERTY to the left of the portrait and the date and mintmark (If any) positioned on the right side.
Reverse: Wheat ears flanking the words ONE CENT, UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. The motto E PLURIBUS UNUM on the top perimeter.
