1927 Doubled Die Obverse One Cent MS BN FS-101
Details
The 1927 Lincoln cent is a common coin in all circulated grades and is widely available even in Gem Mint State grades, regardless of color designation. As many 1920s Lincoln cents are known for their weak strikes and tendency to show carbon spotting, be picky when buying specimens. A little patience always goes a long way in acquiring nice coins.
Obverse: Bust of Abraham Lincoln framed by IN GOD WE TRUST on the top periphery. The word LIBERTY to the left of the portrait and the date and mintmark (If any) positioned on the right side.
Reverse: Wheat ears flanking the words ONE CENT, UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. The motto E PLURIBUS UNUM on the top perimeter.
