1925-S One Cent MS RB Values
Details
The 1925-S Lincoln cent is common and widely available in all circulated grades but is quite challenging in Mint States grades above MS63, regardless of the coin's color designation. Scarce in MS64 and rare in MS65, the 1925-S is typical of 1920s mintmarked Lincoln cents. That is, many branch-mint pieces of the era aren't necessarily rare or even scarce in circulated condition, but then availability suddenly drops above the MS60-63 range.
Obverse: Bust of Abraham Lincoln framed by IN GOD WE TRUST on the top periphery. The word LIBERTY to the left of the portrait and the date and mintmark (If any) positioned on the right side.
Reverse: Wheat ears flanking the words ONE CENT, UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. The motto E PLURIBUS UNUM on the top perimeter.
