1924-S One Cent MS RB Values
Details
Similar to its same-year D-mint counterpart, the 1924-S Lincoln cent is a semi-key coin by every measure, even in circulated condition and particularly in uncirculated grades. In MS65RB and higher, the 1924-S becomes among the top 10 toughest S-mint Lincolns struck before 1930. As with buying any Lincoln cents, it pays to be choosy in picking pieces with the best luster and fewest possible carbon spots.
Obverse: Bust of Abraham Lincoln framed by IN GOD WE TRUST on the top periphery. The word LIBERTY to the left of the portrait and the date and mintmark (If any) positioned on the right side.
Reverse: Wheat ears flanking the words ONE CENT, UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. The motto E PLURIBUS UNUM on the top perimeter.
