1914-S One Cent MS RB Values
Details
Among the many early mint marked Lincoln semi-keys is the 1914-S, a scarce coin in all grades. Circulated representatives are among the most commonly encountered examples, as uncirculated examples are somewhat rare. As expected, Mint State specimens with Brown and Red-Brown designations are the most common among the uncirculated group, with fully Red Gems highly difficult to locate.
Obverse: Bust of Abraham Lincoln framed by IN GOD WE TRUST on the top periphery. The word LIBERTY to the left of the portrait and the date and mintmark (If any) positioned on the right side.
Reverse: Wheat ears flanking the words ONE CENT, UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. The motto E PLURIBUS UNUM on the top perimeter.
