1913-S One Cent MS RD Values
Details
1913-S Lincoln cents are scarce semi-key coins in circulated condition and considerably scarce in all uncirculated grades. Red uncirculated examples are rare as a breed, though they are extremely difficult to find in the Gem grades. Full Red examples virtually impossible to find and command substantial premiums. There is much pressure from registry set collectors, who form a large portion of the consumer base for the very few true Red Gem specimens that do exist.
Obverse: Bust of Abraham Lincoln framed by IN GOD WE TRUST on the top periphery. The word LIBERTY to the left of the portrait and the date and mintmark (If any) positioned on the right side.
Reverse: Wheat ears flanking the words ONE CENT, UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. The motto E PLURIBUS UNUM on the top perimeter.
