1912-S One Cent MS RB Values
Details
The 1912-S Lincoln penny is a scarce semi-key coin, like many other S-mint issues from the early period of this series. Examples are tough in circulated grades and are increasingly rare ascending on the grading spectrum. Uncirculated specimens are scarce across the board, with even Brown and Red-Brown specimens proving difficult.
Obverse: Bust of Abraham Lincoln framed by IN GOD WE TRUST on the top periphery. The word LIBERTY to the left of the portrait and the date and mintmark (If any) positioned on the right side.
Reverse: Wheat ears flanking the words ONE CENT, UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. The motto E PLURIBUS UNUM on the top perimeter.
