1911 One Cent MS BN Values
Details
The Philadelphia Mint struck bevies of Lincoln cents during the early years of the series, and the 1911 issue is no exception. In fact, the 1911 Lincoln cent is one of the most common issues from the pre-1920 era of Lincoln cents and is readily available in all circulated grades up through MS64BN. The strike on most of these coins is strong, but watch for carbon spots and other detractions.
Obverse: Bust of Abraham Lincoln framed by IN GOD WE TRUST on the top periphery. The word LIBERTY to the left of the portrait and the date and mintmark (If any) positioned on the right side.
Reverse: Wheat ears flanking the words ONE CENT, UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. The motto E PLURIBUS UNUM on the top perimeter.
