1879 “Washlady” Silver Dollar. A single impaired example in white metal J-1604A is known (ex:Kaufman-RARCOA 8/78, Superior Auction 79, Superior 5/93).

Obverse: Charles E. Barber’s popular Washlady design. IN GOD WE TRUST above, seven stars left, six stars right, date 1879 below.

Reverse: Perched eagle holding olive branch (with seven leaves) and three arrows (passing behind the wing). E PLURIBUS UNUM in wide semicircular arc above. Around border, UNITED STATES OF AMERICA / ONE DOLLAR.
