The Kagin-18 is a muling of the dated obverse die used on the K-Transitional, K-16, and K-17 half eagles, paired with the final C. Bechtler reverse die with RUTHERF: abbreviated. There are perhaps ten known examples in XF or AU, with a single mint state specimen considered the finest known.
