The National Bank of Cuba series of Cuba in the World Currency contains 17 distinct entries.

The Banco Nacional de Cuba (National Bank of Cuba, NAT) was a privately-owned bank which produced two identical series of notes in 1904, one denominated in pesos and the other in dollars. The peso issue was distributed to all the branches around Cuba, but they were quickly withdrawn as the Cuban government had not authorized their issue or use and they had no government backing. Most of the notes were subsequently destroyed and are rarely seen today. This private institution is not to be confused with the official Banco Nacional de Cuba which issued notes beginning in 1949 (B801-).
