1958 One Cent PR RD CAM Values
Details
The year 1958 marks the end of the road for the Lincoln wheat cent. Plenty of examples exist in all color designations and in grades running the gamut from PR60 through PR67, though pieces grading higher are scarce. Examples with deep cameo frosting are extraordinarily difficult, particularly for pieces on which the cameo contrast is found on both the obverse and reverse, and is uninterrupted by marks or other detractions.
Obverse: Bust of Abraham Lincoln framed by IN GOD WE TRUST on the top periphery. The word LIBERTY to the left of the portait and the date postioned on the right side.
Reverse: Wheat ears flanking the words ONE CENT, UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. The motto E PLURIBUS UNUM on the top perimeter.
