1944-S One Cent MS RD Values
Details
The 1944-S Lincoln cent is an extremely common coin in circulated condition and is available in plentiful numbers up through the grade of MS66. In MS67, 1944-S pennies are scarce and in higher grades this issue is considerably scarce. Many high-grade pieces not only exhibit great luster and rich color but also strong strike, meaning there are plenty of Gem uncirculated specimens to satisfy market demand.
Obverse: Bust of Abraham Lincoln framed by IN GOD WE TRUST on the top periphery. The word LIBERTY to the left of the portrait and the date and mintmark (If any) positioned on the right side.
Reverse: Wheat ears flanking the words ONE CENT, UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. The motto E PLURIBUS UNUM on the top perimeter.
