1935-D One Cent MS RD
Details
The 1935-D Lincoln cent is a common coin in all circulated grades, and it is not a particularly rare coin even in most of the Red Mint State grades. Certainly, Superb Gems are scarce, though this is the case with most Lincoln cents of the era, and examples are generally less expensive and more commonplace than with even the Denver-mint issues of the early 1930s.
Obverse: Bust of Abraham Lincoln framed by IN GOD WE TRUST on the top periphery. The word LIBERTY to the left of the portrait and the date and mintmark (If any) positioned on the right side.
Reverse: Wheat ears flanking the words ONE CENT, UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. The motto E PLURIBUS UNUM on the top perimeter.
