Repunched mintmark variety. 1929-S Lincoln cents is one of the most common pre-1930 S-mint issues from the series but is considerably tough in grades of MS65 or better. Seek quality examples with rich color, few surface marks, and a crisp strike to ensure satisfaction with the purchase and the best possible opportunity for a decent return on the investment.

Obverse: Bust of Abraham Lincoln framed by IN GOD WE TRUST on the top periphery. The word LIBERTY to the left of the portrait and the date and mintmark (If any) positioned on the right side.

Reverse: Wheat ears flanking the words ONE CENT, UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. The motto E PLURIBUS UNUM on the top perimeter.
