1912 One Cent MS RD Values
Details
The 1912 Lincoln cent is one of the tougher Philadelphia-mint issues from the early period, though it is by no means a rare coin, at least not in the absolute sense. Strike is sharp on most specimens, and many uncirculated examples exhibit rich, vibrant reds. This issue is challenging in grades of MS67RD or better.
Obverse: Bust of Abraham Lincoln framed by IN GOD WE TRUST on the top periphery. The word LIBERTY to the left of the portrait and the date and mintmark (If any) positioned on the right side.
Reverse: Wheat ears flanking the words ONE CENT, UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. The motto E PLURIBUS UNUM on the top perimeter.
