1906 Nickel PR CAM Values
Details
A low mintage in the Liberty Nickel series since it is well under two thousand with 1,725 coins struck in 1906. Even with such a low mintage this coin is quite affordable as most were saved. Pieces without a cameo are very common. The Cameo designation brings a premium in all grades, especially the finest of gems that are quite scarce. The issue does not exist with a deep cameo.
Obverse: Lady Liberty with the word LIBERTY on her crown faces left with 13 stars around the periphery and the date positioned at the bottom center.
Reverse: Large V (roman numeral 5) is centered in the design surrounded by an ornate wreath with UNITED STATES OF AMERICA * CENTS * around the periphery. The motto E PLURIBUS UNUM appears near the top between the wreath and letters STATES OF AME.
