1870 Standard Silver Half Dollar. The obverse die is similar to Obverse 2 of 1869, but without initial, and with tip of cap over second S in STATES.
Obverse: Liberty Head with cap and two stars, LIBERTY in raised letters, without B on ribbon.
Reverse: Open agricultural wreath enclosing 50 CENTS / 1870. STANDARD at border above.
