1865 Dollar. Transitional pattern. A specimen owned by Harry W. Bass, Jr., was struck over an 1853 Liberty Seated silver dollar.
Obverse: Regular Liberty Seated die of the year.
Reverse: Similar to regular die of the year but with IN GOD WE TRUST on scroll above eagle, as adopted in 1866.
