Silver issues with some originals (some J-84), others restrikes. One is struck over an 1859 Liberty Seated dollar, with the 1859 date still visible.9 Copper issues are restrikes. • J-84: Originals are alignment IV, struck from perfect dies.10 Restrikes are alignment III11 and IV with reverse die cracks. • J-85: restrikes, alignment III.12 • J-87: restrikes, alignment III.13

Obverse: Liberty seated with stars.

Reverse: Flying eagle in plain field.
