The United States utilized a two-cent coin for just ten years, from 1864 to 1873.
There are approximately a dozen Shultz & Company half eagles in private hands today, many of which are surprisingly well-worn. A single example has been called mint state, and any original, lustrous specimen would qualify for the condition census.
