Standish Barry, of Baltimore, circulated a silver threepence in 1790. He was a watch- and clockmaker, an engraver, and, later, a silversmith. A single gold doubloon is known pedigreed to the Eliasberg (via Clapp, 1942) collection. The coin sold uncertifed by American Numismatic Rarities (ANR) in 2005 for $218,500. It now resides in a PCGS XF40 holder.
