Issued as part of two-coin sets of reverse proof issues with the West Point and San Francisco mint coins. The sets were limited to a production limit of 125,000 and priced at $175 on the US Mint web site. They sold out immediately.
Obverse Description
The obverse design features a refreshed depiction of Adolph A. Weinman’s full-length figure of Liberty in full stride, enveloped in folds of the flag, with her right hand extended and branches of laurel and oak in her left.
Reverse Description
The reverse design features a stylized heraldic eagle design by John Mercanti.
