Scarce coin that could only be obtained from the US Mint with the 2020 George H.W. Bush Coin & Chonicles set. The set was comprised of this coin and (2) medals: a Matte Finish Bush Presidential 1.598-inch 1-ounce .999 fine silver medal, and a Barbara Bush First Spouse 1.3125-inch bronze medal Brilliant Coin finish.

Obverse: Portrait of the President with his name at the top periphery, and term details (number and years served) at the bottom.

Reverse: The statue of Liberty spans the design from lower right to upper left with a large "$1" in the right field. UNITED STATES OF AMERICA spans the periphery from 7-3 o'clock.
