2014-D Native American One Dollar MS Mule with Presidential Dollar
Details
Rare mint error. The obverse of the Native American (Sacagawea) dollar coin was struck with the reverse of the Presidential dollar coin, which is called a "mule" in numismatic terms. Only one example is known as of 2024, which sold in April 2021 at Heritage Auctions.
Obverse: Portrait of Sacagawea with child in a papoose with the motto IN GOD WE TRUST in the left field. LIBERTY centered at the top. The date and mint mark are located on the edge (rim).
