Obverse: A one-year type for the new Jefferson obverse with portrait facing right from the left periphery. IN GOD WE TRUST and 2005 appear on the right periphery with the word Liberty in script across the right middle by Jefferson's mouth.

Reverse: The reverse depicts the American Bison that inhabited the American west during Lewis & Clark's journey.
