(2000)-P Sacagawea One Dollar MS Mule with Quarter Obverse Values

Details

Very rare double-denomination error in which the quarter dollar die was used to strike the obverse (front) of the coin with the Sacagawea reverse, on the Sacagawea gold planchet. Highly desirable and usually generate a lot of excitement when an example becomes available on the market.

Obverse: Detailed portrait of Washington, facing left, with UNITED STATES OF AMERICA and QUARTER DOLLAR on the periphery. The word LIBERTY appear left of Washington's neck, and IN GOD WE TRUST to the right behind his neck. The mintmark appears behind the ribbon under the motto.

Reverse: A flying eagle, framed by 13 stars, soars with the motto E PLURIBUS UNUM in the left-center of the design. UNITED STATES OF AMERICA and ONE DOLLAR frame the periphery.
