The United States Mint certifies that these coins are the one-half ounce, one-quarter ounce, and one-tenth ounce U.S. gold bullion coins, the one-ounce U.S. silver bullion coin and the Philadelphia Bicentennial Medal, all in proof condition.
In 1993, for the first time, the three gold fractional coins and the silver one ounce coin will all be minted at the Philadelphia Mint and bear the "P" mint mark.
The Philadelphia Bicentennial Medal is a silver medal in proof condition produced at the Philadelphia Mint specifically for The Philadelphia Set. The Philadelphia Bicentennial Medal was struck to recognize the 200th anniversary of the striking of the first official regular issue U.S. coins produced for general circulation by the Philadelphia Mint.
Total Gold weight = 0.8500 ounce
Total Silver weight = 1.76 ounces
Obverse: The Augustus Saint-Gaudens' design that depicts a full portrait of Liberty atop rays of sunlight surrounded by stars and the word LIBERTY on the top periphery. The date is positioned to the right of Liberty's left knee.
