Reverse: Slightly left of center, the dismembered Aztec goddess Coyolxauhqui, as carved on a stone in Mexico City. To the right, the denomination $ / 50, with the peso symbol ($) placed above the zero. Below the zero, the date; below the date, the mintmark M. A border of points and beads in the style of the Aztec Calendar Stone extends from the figure’s left foot around the field to the left, and back to the figure’s left hand.
