1958 Type 2 Reverse 50 Cents MS FBL
Details
The type 2 reverse (sharp, or strong, eagle) was intended for use on proof strikes but appears on a small number of the business strikes, as well.
Obverse: A large bust of Benjamin Franklin, facing right, with the words LIBERTY and IN GOD WE TRUST around the periphery. The date appear to the right of Franklin's neck.
Reverse: The Liberty bell is prominently featured with the words UNITED STATES OF AMERICA and HALF DOLLAR around the periphery. The motto, E PLURIBUS UNUM is left of the bell, with a eagle -- wings fully spread -- to the right.
