1955 DDO & DDR One Cent PR RD CAM FS-103/801

Details

1955 proof Lincoln cents are relatively common in all Gem Proof grades, though they are difficult to find with cameo effects. Collectors and other enthusiasts will generally pay top dollar to buy examples with deep cameo effects on the devices and inscriptions and are most interested in cameo pieces on which frosted details are seen on both the obverse and reverse.

Obverse: Bust of Abraham Lincoln framed by IN GOD WE TRUST on the top periphery. The word LIBERTY to the left of the portait and the date postioned on the right side.

Reverse: Wheat ears flanking the words ONE CENT, UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. The motto E PLURIBUS UNUM on the top perimeter.
