Obverse Description
A large bust of Benjamin Franklin, facing right, with the words LIBERTY and IN GOD WE TRUST around the periphery. The date appear to the right of Franklin's neck.
Reverse Description
The Liberty bell is prominently featured with the words UNITED STATES OF AMERICA and HALF DOLLAR around the periphery. The motto, E PLURIBUS UNUM is left of the bell, with a eagle -- wings fully spread -- to the right.
