1939 One Cent PR RD CAM Values

Details

1939 proof Lincoln cents are scarcer than most other proof Lincoln cents, though they are much more common than the earlier matte proofs of 1909-1916. As a rule, 1939 proofs bear brilliant surfaces, though it is best to avoid pieces that exhibit ispots, uneven coloration, or other surface problems.

Obverse: Bust of Abraham Lincoln framed by IN GOD WE TRUST on the top periphery. The word LIBERTY to the left of the portait and the date postioned on the right side.

Reverse: Wheat ears flanking the words ONE CENT, UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. The motto E PLURIBUS UNUM on the top perimeter.
