1904 One Cent PR BN Values

Details

The mintage for the 1904 Indian Cent is 1,817. Brown pieces are common as well as red-brown with the finest gems being scarce. Full red gems are scarce too, with the finest ones being very rare. Any grade with a cameo is, at the very least, scarce with high Mint State grades being rare. Look for attractively toned brown pieces or blazing red surfaces. They are the very desirable and are not extremely difficult to come across.

Obverse: A portrait bearing the likeness of a Native American in full headdress framed by the words UNITED STATES OF AMERICA around the periphery. The date is centered at the bottom under the portrait.

Reverse: The reverse bears the denomination of ONE CENT in the center surrounded by a wreath bearing a ribbon with arrows tied in at the bottom center.
