Obverse: Liberty Head with coronet, small portrait, facing left, similar to that used on the nickel three-cent piece as well as earlier patterns.

Reverse: Laurel wreath enclosing 5 CENTS (curved). Closely related to the preceding die, with essentially the same wreath features.
